OUR SHOP
We are a small neighborhood coffee shop and take away. Inspired by the old, traditional Danish 'kaffebarer', we serve a good, no-fuss breakfast, coffee and open faced sandwiches in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Enjoy it in the shop or get it to go.

We also offer a small selection of locally made products like Schumachers snaps, Danish Friis-Holm chocolate and our coffee beans.
OUR RYE
We serve the traditional Danish "håndmadder" —
a simpler version of 'smørrebrød' that is served in Danish homes and the original Danish coffeeshops. Our version includes fresh herbs, pickled scallions, lovage mayo, crisp pork fat...

Everything on our rye serves a purpose and adds to both taste and texture — and with a little effort, can be eaten by hand. We are vikings after all.
OUR COFFEE
We serve a full espresso bar as well as great drip coffee. Our espresso drinks are always double shots and our drip is fresh and hot.
Our coffee is roasted locally by our friend and colleague Erik Almaraz from Espressòs. Erik, originally a trained chef, has now been roasting coffee for over 15 years.
